Take time out to enjoy all that Eastbourne has to offer. Whether it’s outdoor activities, fine dining, relaxing in your room with the view, or shopping; everything to make your stay memorable is within walking distance.

Spend an hour with us on the front balcony with a wine.

Days Bay beach is wonderful for swimming, snorkeling and kayaking - all available at no charge.

Take time out in our hot spa (Jacuzzi) sitting right in the middle of the Pohutukawa tree.

Visit one of the 4-5 galleries in the village, only 600m to the north or south.

Spend time on our upstairs balcony which i sheltered and private - our wedding photo to the left was from there.

Visit Middle Earth for a change of pace

Ride our Mountain bikes south to the mouth of Wellington Harbour.  On the way, collect some Paua (Abalone or 鲍鱼 - but black and is the shell commonly used in NZ jewellery)

Take a walk in our beautiful native bush above Days Bay and Eastbourne. If it’s warm, a snorkel in the sea in front of the house is like a walk in the garden - with tiny pets.

Blokarts (Land yachts) could be a good alternative on extreme rough days on the water, although a charge may apply for time and travel if required.

Above all, come and enjoy a cooked breakfast with us each morning, included in the price.

View our Albums for more ideas.

Visit the Old St Pauls Cathedral, one of the oldest buildings in New Zealand.  No longer a church it is used for weddings like ours - our grandchildren Theo & Isabelle are pictured to the right with their special Aunty Caroline.

Our purpose built B and B, was designed by award winning Wellington architects Melling Morse to include the comfort and privacy of invited guests.  We love wooden structures and the appearance of wood, so staying at Days Bay Homestay, you will be treated to one of the best styles of timber construction and finishing anywhere.
